Route 21 Mentor Application

Job Requirements

If you are interested in being a mentor for Route 21 starting in the summer of 2026 , please review the qualifications before you apply. 

Route 21 mentors…

1.  Are young adults who have spent time in foster care growing up. 
2. Have stable income.  A Route 21 mentor is a part-time job that requires about 20 hours per month and should not be your main income.
3. Have stable housing.
4. Have a stable car.
5. Live in or near the greater Seattle/Bellvue area.  

Thank you for your interest in becoming a mentor for Route 21 in the summer of 2026. We are not looking for perfect people (they don’t exist) but rather we are looking for young adults who grew up in foster care and want to help those in a similar situation that they themselves grew up in.
